School Year Nature Day Camps And Classes at the Yurts
No School? Join us at Apple Blossom! Modeled after our imaginative summer camps, come get creative with us over school breaks. Our first school year nature camp will be over MEA weekend in October!
Come create and imagine with us at Apple Blossom as we immerse ourselves in outdoor play and seasonal activities. With cozy yurts in case of rain or cold, we will experience storytelling around the campfire, cook our own snack, build shelters, whittle, craft, and play in our beautiful rustic play space!
School is out but Apple Blossom is open! Join us at the Yurts from 9 - 2:30 for a joyful day of Lantern making, leaf garlands, Autumn games, and cider and popcorn over the fire! Ages 6 - 11 years.
Apple Blossom Teachers invite you to join us for a magical day at the yurts to hear Irish Folktales, create fairy houses, search for the pot of gold, and cook and eat Irish Stew! Lots of time for imaginative play in our outdoor spaces is included. Bring a veggie for the stew and we will cook our own morning snack over the fire! One carrot or one potato are suggested. Let us know if you have dietary needs and we can accommodate. Ages 6 - 11 years

Apple Blossom Teachers invite kids to experience a day at the yurts doing all things pumpkin as we get ready for our Enchanted Halloween Walk on October 26th! Carve, paint, and make pumpkin fairy houses, hear pumpkin folktales around the campfire, and eat roasted pumpkin seeds. We will make our own snack, whittle, finger knit, sing, play games and more! Each child will get to take home one pumpkin art project that they created! Morning snack provided. Ages 5 - 10 years. *Reduced cost for children already enrolled at Apple Blossom Nature School.
Yurt Field Trips for schools or homeschool groups
Bring your class or Homeschool group to Apple Blossom! Ages 4 - 8 years.
Friday Morning 9:00 - noon or All Day Friday 9:00 Am - 2:00 pm at the yurts…OR we can tailor the time to fit your needs.
Children enjoy time to play and relax in nature.
We provide one Outdoor Immersion Teacher per 18 - 20 students to lead activities. Enough adults from your organization or school must be in attendance to make a safe outdoor learning ratio of 1:6 for ages 4 - 5 years and 1:7 for ages 6 - 8 years
We provide outdoor play time in our natural play yard.
Minimum group size of 10 students, maximum group size of 40 students (in 2 groups), ages 4 - 8 years.
Morning (3 hours): $450 per group of up to 18 -20 students
Full Day (5 hours): $700 per group of up to 18 - 20 students
*Special per person pricing available for smaller groups and special pricing and times can be arranged to accommodate a school class.
*We can also come to you and provide a Forest Day at your school or local park
Field Trips offered in all seasons! We have campfires and cozy yurts for warm ups! Cooking snack over the fire or preparing our own foods is part of the experience!
Bring your preschool, kindergarten, 1st or 2nd grade class, after school group, or home school group to experience a Friday of Nature School.
With campfire and storytelling, nature crafts and outdoor play, we offer seasonal activities such as fort building, whittling, cooking, archery, and ice skating.
Come enjoy learning in the great outdoors with cozy yurts for shelter in case of rain or cold.
Snack provided (we will cook over the fire)!
