are hosted by Apple Blossom Village each season. Offering a magical and imaginative outdoor experience for young children and their families. Families with young children ages 1 - 5

join us for a morning of hot cocoa, a seasonal story, and our tradition of walking the Spiral of Light. Take a stroll through the Fairy Forest and try out our Scandinavian Kick Sled. Roll a beeswax candle to take home!

The Holiday Shop in the Yurt will be open with handmade items and baked goods for purchase. *Fundraiser for Apple Blossom Nature School $10/Family

Enchanted Halloween Walk

Saturday October 26th - Family Friendly! Early Childhood Hour 5 - 6 pm in the Enchanted Village is just right for ages 1 - 5 years. Watch a short puppet show about Winifred Witch and play in the village. Can you find Winifred's Little Lost Kitty? Visit the Witch's Cottage for a snack and sip cider by the campfire. Games and a craft just for the littles! Follow the Jack O'Lantern Path out of the village as the sun begins to set.

Ages 5 - 10 years will enjoy the Enchanted Halloween Walk after darkness falls. Walks start at 6:15 pm. Begin by watching the longer Shadow Puppet Story of the Snow Queen and follow the Jack O'Lanterns to the Village. Be sure to try witch's brew at the fire and stop at the Witch's Cottage, Robber's Hideout, and Wise Woman's Hut, as you follow the story and make your way to the Frozen North for a treasure on the way out.

The Autumn Bake Shoppe will be open for extra treats to purchase at the gate on the way in or the way out..

Choose Early Childhood Hour in the Enchanted Village 5 - 6 pm or a time to take the Enchanted Halloween Walk. Walks start at 6:15 pm and begin about every 15 minutes. Plan for about a half hour to get through the walk. Last walk begins at 7:15 pm. Families are welcome to choose which fits their family best or pay for a combo ticket and enjoy time in the village plus a walk after dark. There will be a 15 minute pause between the 2 events to set up.

Up North Winter Traditions Event and Apple Blossom Fundraiser

Join us for an afternoon of Indigenous Foods, Games, and Arts plus our Apple Blossom traditions of Nordic kick sled, beeswax candle rolling, and our Winter Spiral of Lights!

2:30 - 4:30 pm Enjoy Indigenous Food samples, Winter Teachings, Games and Art Demonstration with Indigenous Presenters, Apple Blossom crafts, free hot chocolate, and our Holiday Shop in the Yurt will be open with handmade gifts and baked goods for purchase. $10/family suggested donation (stay for Winter Spiral for no extra fee).

4:30 - 5:30 pm Stop by and shop the yurt, walk the spiral and through the fairy forest, have a cup of hot chocolate and hear a story. $5/family suggested donation.
