Apple Blossom Village is offering Friday, Saturday and Sunday classes and activities at the new Blue Yurt! This yurt is a little bigger than our other yurts, just right for hosting groups in all kinds of weather. Let nature and good company at the Big Blue Yurt restore you while engaging in hands-on seasonal cooking, balms and salves, arts and crafts, and building.

Fall Session 2026

Saturday August 22nd - Free Family Forest Event - collaboration w/Peacemakers Resources at Diamond Point Park 3-6 pm

Sunday August 23rd - Build a Yurt Class- 8 am - 5 pm - adults ages 18 and up - Bring a water bottle and snacks. Lemonade, lunch, and and dinner provided in the registration fee.

Sunday September 6th - Build a Pizza Oven Class - noon - 6 pm - Adult Class (adults and ages 16 and up with adult) pizza dinner provided in registration fee.

Saturday September 12th - Yurt Music and Culture Fest Celebration and Open House - 4 - 7 pm - Family activities, music, pizza and baked apples, campfire

Friday October 9th - Nature Pizza Night - Friday - 5 - 7:30 pm - Family activities, pizza, and pumpkin soup, campfire - tickets online or at the door

Saturday October 17th - Harvest Family Forest Event - 11 am - 2 pm - free family event hosted at the Apple Blossom yurts in collaboration w/Peacemakers Resources

Enchanted Halloween - Saturday October 24th - 3 - 4 pm Early Childhood Hour, 5:30 - 7:30 pm Walk

Nature Pizza Night - Friday November 13th - 5 - 7:30 pm - Family activities, pizza, and corn on the cob, campfire

Midwinter Tea and Spiral of Lights - Saturday December 5th - 3 - 4:30 pm (adults and adult/child or family activity)

Spring Session 2027

Seed Starting Class w/IEN-Saturday March 13th, 10 am - noon Adults and ages 6 and up with an adult

Saturday April 10th - Sugarbush Family Forest Event - 11 am - 2 pm - free family event in collaboration w/Peacemakers Resources at Diamond Point Park

Week of the Young Child Open House - Friday April 16th - 10 am - noon, Parents and children birth to age 7 - Free

Fall Session

Parent Book Study and Discussion on the Second Friday morning of the month Sept - Dec - Free (childcare for ages 2 - 10 for a fee)

We will discuss Balanced and Barefoot by Angela J. Hanscomb, in this first book study of the school year.
